Minority Enterprise Development Week of Kentucky

MEDI coordinates and executes the annual Minority Economic Development Week (MED Week) celebration at the state and local level as celebrated by the US Department of Commerce. MED Week was enacted by President Ronald Reagan in 1983 to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of minority-owned enterprises and those that support minority enterprise development.

We are the only organization in Kentucky that promotes and celebrates MED Week which greatly increases the awareness of the entire community about minority- and women-owned businesses and their needs.
